This site is devoted to the descendants of EBER & SARAH WARD BLAKESLEE or BLAKESLEY. The Blakeslee/Blakesley name appears in America in the early 1600’s. Eber is the earliest confirmed person in my Blakesley line.  The WARD line can be traced back 4 more generations to Oxfordshire, England.

This site is designed in the form of a story rather then  just a genealogical chart. This was done to give life to the real people involved. The information in this site comes from many different sources. Census records, historical records, birth, marriage & death certificates, pension records, newspaper articles & other sources. Every effort has been made to insure the information given is correct. Not always possible. Wherever the author has resorted conjecture, guesswork, artistic license or fantasy he has said so.
